With his first win in over a year, Henrik Stenson cuts his world ranking by a third moving from ninth to sixth.
The Swede scraped a one-shot victory at the Wyndham Championship to end a wait since The Open Championship last year for a win and overtakes Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm and Jason Day.
Behind Stenson in second was the upcoming Ollie Schniederjans who has now broken into the top 100 for the first time in his career; the 24-year-old moves from 146th to 96th with his runner-up finish.
Meanwhile Webb Simpson came in third at Sedgefield Country Club and is able to better his ranking by 10 places from 59th.
Kevin Na finished in a three-way tie for fourth and takes a six place hop to 74th. Na’s fourth place counterparts Rory Sabbatini and Ryan Armour move from 448th to 331st and 537th to 394th.
Inside the top 20, Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood swap places from 16th and 14th respectively – as the Italian overtakes the Englishman – despite no appearance from either player this week.

It was a subdued week of golf on the back of the PGA Championship with no big events from any tour. The ante is upped this week though, as the PGA Tour’s FedExCup Play-Offs kick off with The Northern Trust boasting a full strength field.
